There's a story, and probably a crying child, behind this abandoned ice cream, but I don't know what it is. I missed it, chancing upon this scene after the action. Why would someone throw it away? It looks almost untouched and it's got a Flake in it.
Is this different from all the other stuff we buy and toss? Working to send mountains of stuff to landfill with ever increasing frequency?
It's time to think differently about the stuff we make, how we make it, and what we do with what we no longer need.
It's time to recoup the unclaimed value that we've disregarded as 'waste'.
